June Goals

Daily Goals
Wake up at 6:30 a.m. for devotions and prayer time
   - Continue Proverbs 31 w/ my sister
- Do dishes and keep counter-tops clean in the kitchen
- Make the beds after Chris leaves for work
   - Teach Emma to make her own bed every morning Did this - still a work in progress :)
- Drink 48-64 ounces of water I did drink a lot of water every day. Did not make 64 ounces very often but was within the 48 range most days
- Track calories or WW points every day   Re-joined Weight Watchers!  Tracking points and calories at the same time for a while.

Projects for inside the home
- Finish painting bathroom
- Frame the bathroom mirror
- Install new faucet fixture
- Install new vanity light
- Hang new shower curtain
- Decide on food supply for emergency preparations
- Hang curtain rod/curtains in guest bedroom

Projects for outside the home
- Throw away old hay bale This thing is HEAVY. Need Chris's help and have yet to get it
- Fill hole in backyard
- Plant grass seed after filling hole 20 days straight of rain means no grass seed planting yet
- Place tomato cages around peony bushes and trim back This will have to wait until next Spring
- Plant potted bulbs from neighbor
- Trim back bushes again

Projects for the person
- Turbo Jam 4-5 days a week FAIL!  Did not do this once.  DID do couch to 5K one week
- Start  1 sewing project Fail!
- Wear perfume every day
- Turn computer off after devotions in the morning  Fail. Bad, bad, bad.
- Wear a dress/skirt at least 1 day of the week
- Find 1 new way to style hair

Proverbs 31:17
" She sets about her work vigorously; Her arms are strong for her tasks"

All in all, I stuck to my goal list fairly well. The constant rain kept things moving along inside the house while stalling everything outside of the house. We have planted a lot of things that have grown but the rain has washed away my plant labels so I have no idea what I have grown! lol! :)

Did terrible on working out and even though I did not shed a lot of pounds, I watched what I was eating and drank a lot of water and tried to be healthier and that is the goal. I did dress up more and enjoy wearing dresses and doing my hair but it certainly requires a lot more prep time. Will have to keep working on this. On top of that, I left my makeup bag in the state of Michigan...  yeesh. :)

June wasn't too bad.  Here's hoping there is progress in July! :)

April Goals Revisited

Daily Goals
- Wake up at 6:30 a.m. for devotions and prayer time
   - Continiue Proverbs 31 w/ my sister  Success! Stayed diligent and only missed 1 or 2 early mornings in the Word. What a difference this makes in my day!
- Do dishes and keep counter-tops clean in the kitchen I did this a lot but not every day.. need to do better!
- Make the beds after Chris leaves for work  Success!
   - Teach Emma to make her own bed every morning Work in progress... but we are doing this!
- Drink 48-64 ounces of water Fail - did this some days, but not consistently every day
- Track calories or WW points every day Fail - was doing super good with this but slacked the last 2 weeks. Need to get back on the wagon.

Projects for inside the home
- Finish painting bathroom - I am SO close to being done with this, but the ceiling trim requires a "spotter" while I stand on the chair/ladder to finish. That is all that needs to be done though!  I love the color, hubby hates it... may have to win him over with accessories ;)
- Frame the bathroom mirror - Fail
Pick out and purchase new bathroom light fixture
- Decide on food supply for emergency preparations Fail - cannot decide on how long of a supply, need to step it up on this one
- Hang curtain rod/curtains in guest bedroom Fail - this room has become a bit of a disaster and I need to pre-drill holes ( I found this out the hard way)

Projects for outside the home
Wash the front porch entry  Success! It looks so much better! No one notices but me but it is a big difference!
   - Walls, light fixture, door, etc.
Wash out planter boxes, fill with soil, plant seeds, hang on deck  Sucess-ish. Hung up one planter box to find that they do not fit on our deck rails. However, the one I did hang has growing flowers in it! Yeah!
Find a way to bring shade to eating area on upper deck   Success! Purchased an umbrella that provides shade for Emma while she plays and while we eat at the table. Sweet!

Projects for the person
Turbo Jam 4-5 days a week Fail - in a major way. Need to get back to doing this consistently. I'm feeling the effects of stopping.
- Start and finish 1 sewing project Fail - pinned a lot of projects on Pinterest but did not get a chacne to even SIT at my sewing table.  I miss my sewing!
- Wear perfume every day Fail - made it some days, but not others.
- Turn computer off after devotions in the morning Fail - did good for the first week then slid back into old habits. Need to fix this!
